Four Diamond Grits in our 4" pocket models of the Diamond Whetstone™ sharpeners
This kit includes four different grits of diamond sharpening stones to provide comprehensive edge care.
First among these is the extra-coarse diamond stone (60 micron / 220 mesh) for when significant removal of material is needed to repair a damaged edge
Second is a coarse diamond stone (45 micron / 325 mesh) for quickly restoring a neglected edge
Third is a fine diamond stone (25 micron / 600 mesh) for honing a razor sharp edge
And finally, an extra-fine diamond stone (9 micron / 1200 mesh) to polish and refine a razor edge after sharpening with the coarser stones.
Every stone is conveniently sized, with overall dimensions of 4 1/3" x 7/8" x 3/16". Thanks to the micronized monocrystalline diamond surface on each stone as well, you can sharpen edges much faster and easier than conventional stones can. No messy oils are needed either, allowing you to sharpen dry or with water.
